Welcome back to another edition of Jenna's Home Sweet Home! Whoo hooo!!! Today's featured room is one of my favorite spots in the house because IT'S! ALL! MINE! That's right. No boys allowed! When we first started looking for houses we set our budget and made a list of things we wanted. My number one thing was having a space where I could process film, work on my collages, paint and shoot portraits. No biggie for people on a budget, right? Wrong! But just when I thought I was going to have to give up my dreams of having a workspace, this beautiful house hit the internet and we snatched it up! My special room has running water (a bathroom) so I can process film, one window that leads to my shady backyard (beautiful light) and it's just cool because all my stuff is crammed in there. I love it! Have a look around....

1) I love these giant photos. I took a couple of images (Love them, Ashley B) to Staples and had them print them really big on their giant blueprint printer thingy and they turned out soo cute! Plus, they were only $4.00. I think some brighter images of kids would be super cute printed like this! The bunting was handmade by me and if anyone wants any please let me know. I've got 200 feet of it. Not even kidding. 2) This is one of my favorite things I have- my apron that I wore almost every day when I worked in the photo lab. Best job ever and I love that apron so much. (Calm down, photo students! I replaced it with a different apron. I didn't steal it... I traded!)

My books. Since last year I've managed to collect over 100 books and I've read almost all of them. I love books. LOVE BOOKS! Brock, I haven't forgotten that I need to return your darkroom book. I will. Promise. Also, Happy (late) Birthday.

1) My Bob Greer pinhole church photo. It is one of the most beautiful photos I own and it was shot by my super wonderful friend! I need to get a frame for this thing ASAP. I usually keep it wrapped in plastic but took that off for this post. 2) My 4x5 camera. I gotta pull this thing out and start shooting more. This camera was one of the things I thought I would use most after we moved here. I didn't take into account how difficult it would be to process those giant negatives. No excuses though, I'm shooting on this camera SOON!

Oh, the Moleskines. Every photo, collage or short film idea I've ever had has started out in one of these books. Well, not like portrait shoot ideas- those happen on the spot but any of my project ideas have all started here. I cannot say enough about these books. Something about them just makes my brain do fun things. I like the large, lined paper ones. They're a bit expensive though for what they are so I make myself fill one completely before I buy another.

1) My Fuji Instax prints. They are so terribly exposed and blurry but I love them. 2) My ADDYs. I entered the ADDY Awards twice in college and won both times! I never did get a gold but I won two silvers and a bronze. I was so proud!!!
Well, that's my special room. I hope you liked it! I probably should have included the bathroom on this post since I doubt any of you are interested in another bathroom post but whateves. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
The rooms are too good. Lovely pictures and awesome photography.
