Debbie's Hide a Way

Photobucket

When we first started planning the road trip part of our vacation we kept going back and forth between booking hotel rooms in advance OR being completely spontaneous and sleeping wherever we landed. I got online to look up possible places to stop and when I found this place, I knew we had to book at least one night in advance. This is Debbie's Hide a Way and it's located in my new favorite town of Page, Arizona. Debbie's has a unique garden, a commons area where all of the residents can meet to talk or grill out, tons of singing birds and the largest collection of chachkis I've ever seen. Here are a few photos of the things that you'll see decorating the outside of Debbie's.

The staff is extremely courteous and with some of the rooms at 600+ square feet, it's more like staying in an apartment than a motel. We had a full kitchen and living room in addition to the huge bedroom and bathroom and our bathroom even came with tons of toiletries. Debbie's is located on the Avenue of Little Motels and the street is lined with teeny tiny little motels. I don't think any of them had as much character as Debbie's but the rest were pretty charming.

If you are looking to travel throughout the west and would like to stay in a unique motel- make sure to book a night or two at Debbie's! I will definitely be staying here again!
